# ZAKU Water

> ZAKU is a natural mineral water bottled at source in Garkalne, Latvia, in still, sparkling, and flavored varieties.

ZAKU was founded in 1994 by a surgeon seeking pure, balanced mineral water for post-surgical patient recovery. The water is drawn from a deep underground spring at our production site in Garkalne, Latvia, and bottled on location to deliver it as it comes out of the earth — naturally alkaline (pH 8), mineral-balanced, and untouched. ZAKU has been recognized by the Fine Water Society Taste Awards in 2024 and 2025.
